Full Job Description
We are looking for an Analyst, Quality Analytics to join our Process Engineering (PE) team. The ideal candidate is an individual contributor who takes ownership of the quality of our production analytics, and the continuous improvement of our processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team whose scope and impact continue to grow.

What You Will Do
  • Maintain and validate the accuracy of calculated analytics including performance, attribution, and risk values across multiple systems.
  • Analyze data-quality exceptions and support timely resolution and signoff.
  • Manage and enable scheduled processes that calculate, save, and validate analytics.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort, and address common points of failure.
  • Enhance our analytics governance framework by ensuring processes follow design best practices, are scalable, and automated.
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate process risks. Implement appropriate controls.
  • Act as an analytics expert and an escalation point for process questions.

What You Bring
  • An undergraduate degree in finance, data science, or a quantitative field. Completion of a relevant designation, such as the CFA or FRM, is an asset.
  • Experience in data management, business process design, asset management, or a similarly complex environment is an asset.
  • You have deep knowledge of data management or investment analytics, are a systems thinker, and take ownership of your work. You have a proven track record of delivering quality data in a timely fashion.
  • You have practical experience with the tools and systems used in modern analytics pipelines. Experience with Python, SQL, AI programming assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot), automation and scheduling platforms (e.g. VisualCron, Prefect), and data platforms (e.g. Databricks, Microsoft Fabric) is an asset. Experience developing AI solutions and programming (Python, SQL) is an asset.
  • Passionate about technology and are committed to continuous learning. You apply and integrate emerging technologies where they add value. You bring the "art of the possible" to solution design.
  • Strong problem solver who can identify patterns, generate insights, and approach ambiguous problems with structure and creativity.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate process risks, and escalate issues proactively when needed.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $120,000. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation for this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
