Job Description: Analyst, Operations
Reports to: Sr. Mgr Product Planning
Location: Carlsbad, CA (hybrid)

Role Overview:

The Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting product planning, inventory management, reporting, and operational execution across the business. This individual will be responsible for maintaining data accuracy, supporting purchase order activities, coordinating sample management, and providing analytical insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They take ownership of their work, identify opportunities for process improvements, and consistently deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision. This is a full-time, exempt position. Employees are required to work a hybrid schedule. (3) Days in office at our HQ in Carlsbad, and (2) Days Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly and out-of-season purchasing activities to ensure timely product availability and inventory management.


  • Perform master data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure accurate data management and seamless buy execution


  • Conduct MCQ audits and maintain accurate product information through PLM updates.
  • Create and manage purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal processes.
  • Coordinate and track sample procurement, including:
    • Seasonal Salesman samples
    • First production samples
    • Off-cycle sample requests
    • TOP samples for U.S. direct ship customers
  • Manage vendor scorecard reporting and assist with supplier performance reviews.
    • Support monthly business cadence activities and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) preparation.
  • Generate ad hoc analyses and reporting to support cross-functional business needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of business priorities.


Qualifications:

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including:
    • Pivot Tables
    • XLOOKUP
    • Data validation
    • Complex formulas
    • Data analysis and reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
