Full Job Description

The Investor Solutions Analyst plays a key role in supporting and evolving NXT Capital’s third-party investment platform. This position combines program management responsibilities with working with direct lending deal teams and as it relates to supporting the allocation of direct lending deals and the offering process of deals being sold to investment programs.

We are seeking an individual who is self-motivated and a strong team player to assist with day-to-day transactional duties as well as program management. Responsibilities include supporting ongoing program management, analyzing program performance, and facilitating communication with LPs and third-party service providers. In addition, the Analyst will be expected to assess deal level compliance with investor solutions program eligibility guidelines, monitor program capacity and support the allocation and sale of direct lending transactions to investor programs.

NXT Capital Title – Investor Solutions Analyst

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Review underwriting materials to assess compliance with program eligibility guidelines, help evaluate capacity under program level investment guideline limitations, and assist with deal allocations
  • Manage the offering process of deals being sold to programs and work with direct lending deal teams to prepare memos, assignment agreements and participation certificates to facilitate new asset sales and deal modifications; ensure delivery of proper documentation in a timely manner
  • Assist in the tracking of program capital needs and deployment activity
  • Act as liaison across multiple groups within NXT Capital, including investor solutions, direct lending deal teams, finance, operations, legal and compliance

Program Management and Development Responsibilities

  • Maintain program-specific tracking, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems
  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting requirements for both internal and external constituents, including reporting packages, investor letters, internal program reviews, data tapes and compliance requests
  • Assist with investor inquiries and due diligence requests through data gathering, analysis, and ad hoc financial modeling
  • Maintain a strong understanding of portfolio composition, investment guidelines, and program requirements
  • Analyze program performance data and support development of insights used in reporting, investor communications and ongoing fund modeling
  • Assist in developing and maintaining investor and marketing presentations
  • Process and track program-level expenses

Other Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of NXT’s loan platform and NXT’s investor solutions programs, including investment guidelines and program reporting requirements
  • Become proficient with NXT’s data sources, including PowerBI, Salesforce and ad hoc reporting tool for data gathering, analysis and reporting
  • Maintain and enhance deal templates and analytical tools (e.g., asset allocation tools, cash forecasting models, deal closing models, portfolio construction tools) in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors
  • Recommend and assist in implementation of process changes, corrections and/or data improvements. Contribute to the firmwide (ORIX) asset management initiatives and team up to advance corporate wide data
  • Support implementation of process improvements, data enhancements, and implementing operational efficiencies using AI as appropriate (including Microsoft Co-Pilot)
  • Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and quality in presentation development and data analysis
  • Assist in managing relationships with third-party providers and vendors

Skills & experience

  • Bachelors degree required (major in finance, business, accounting or a related field preferred)
  • 2 6 years of relevant experience in asset management, portfolio management, financial analysis, accounting, or analytics within a financial services or asset management firm
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively with senior management, investors, service providers, and internal constituents
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Microsoft Copilot) preferred
  • Proven analytical, problem solving, and logical reasoning skills needed to enhance business decision making and current processes using data and technology
  • Excellent organizational skills, with ability to handle a wide variety of responsibilities and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to operate effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Professional attitude, strong work ethic and a self-starter

Annual base salary gross: $90,000 - $110,000 (IL only). The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of ORIXs salary for this position based on geography. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidates qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base pay is one component of ORIXs total compensation package for employees.
