Full Job Description
Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data models with Statistical and Machine learning expertise. Responsible for specifying, monitoring, gathering, analyzing, and reporting all metrics related to Product initiatives including revenue, reach, and engagement metrics such as conversion rates, web behavior, etc. for the entire digital Product portfolio. Responsible for Data Mining and Analysis from organization databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies. To be successful in this role you must be able to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment while maintaining good communication with management and team members and be able to mentor entry level analysts. Strong communications skills, including proven writing/editing ability a must. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 1. Support the implementation and maintenance of Digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tag Management System - DTM) for the new/existing applications. 2. Work closely with business analysts to define implementation requirements, Functional/Tagging Specification Documents and maintain documentation through Adobe Analytics SDR (Solutions Design Reference). 3. Implement Digital Analytics and Insights best practices across all Products. 4. Develop, customize, and troubleshoot events and tags in complex environments with the use of JavaScript, XML, HTML and CSS. 5. Implement analytics tracking code and assist in quality assurance to ensure tagging functionality across all web properties. 6. Design and develop data visualizations using data viz tools (Tableau, etc.), to communicate and demonstrate digital performance per established objectives and best practices. 7. Coordinate with Product and digital marketing teams for appropriate definition of and ongoing analysis of metrics, including ensuring tagging and taxonomy are implemented correctly are being adhered to in order to meet analytic needs. 8. Leads the way in establishing and supporting analytic standards, best practices, and testing strategies working cross-functionally with a variety of interactive subject matter experts and business stakeholders. Educates teams on web analytics best practices and toolsets through the development of training materials, standards documentation, and takes lead in the coordination/facilitation of regular training sessions with various analytics user groups. 9. Identify methods to improve the digital analytics front-end implementation based on internal and external data 10. Identify online data collection issues and work with development and product teams for resolution Job Requirements: 3 Bachelor's Degree and 6+ year's experience. 3 Requires experience with Adobe Analytics and Digital Data domain. 3 Requires experience analyzing and developing actionable insights for digital products and experiences. 3 Strong communication skills to translate data and insights into a performance data story that will inform strategy and optimization. 3 Proficiency with Excel or similar spreadsheet tools for analysis, validation, and reporting. 3 Self-motivated with strong intellectual curiosity; comfortable working with large data sets across multiple data sources; 3 Experience in website tagging and conversion path/journey tracking, as well as, building data queries in SQL as a plus. 3 Must have demonstrated experience using the tools to drive business decisions, as well as a deep understanding of the underlying technology (tagging structure, set-up, and functional capabilities). 3 Ability to develop experimental and analytic plans for data modeling processes, use of strong baselines, ability to accurately determine cause and effect relations. 3 Understanding of relevant statistical measures such as confidence intervals, significance of error measurements, development, and evaluation data sets, etc. 3 Track record of diving into data to discover hidden patterns and of conducting error/deviation analysis. Experience with statistical modelling / machine learning. 3 Foundational understanding of experimentation or A/B testing concepts, including hypotheses, success metrics, guardrails, and interpretation of results. 3 Working knowledge of digital analytics measurement concepts, including events, dimensions, conversion, engagement, segmentation, persistence, attribution, baselines, and trend analysis. 3 Working understanding of data layers and Adobe Launch or Tags, including the ability to read analytics requirements and support validation through browser developer tools. Advanced implementation coding is not required. Location & Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position based at ALSAC's National Executive Office (NEO) in Memphis, Tennessee. Team members are expected to work a combination of on-site and remote days in accordance with organizational hybrid work guidelines.
