Job Description:Department Overview TD Securities is a leading corporate, investment and transaction bank offering a wide range of capital markets and transaction banking products and services to corporate, government, and financial institution clients. Our team operates out of 32 cities around the globe through Global Transaction Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking, Global Markets and Research & Strategy services.
TD Securities has embarked on a multi-year digital transformation of the transaction banking product suite focused on building solutions for our corporate and financial institution clients at scale. The Transaction Banking Product Management team is responsible for expanding existing product capabilities with a unique opportunity to build new payments and treasury products end-to-end at enterprise scale.
About the RoleGlobal Transaction Banking (GTB) is a key growth business that delivers innovative treasury, payments, liquidity, cash management, and trade solutions to corporate and financial institution clients. We are seeking a highly analytical and technically proficient Analyst to support the Client Solutions team through business intelligence, data analytics, operational excellence, and strategic business support.
This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working with data, solving complex business challenges, identifying process improvement opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making, improving operational effectiveness, and supporting growth initiatives across the business.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Intelligence & Analytics- Develop and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide actionable business insights.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and performance drivers.
- Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and success metrics.
- Deliver data-driven recommendations that support business growth, strategic planning, and operational improvements.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve data accessibility through self-service solutions.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement- Monitor and maintain critical business processes to ensure operational efficiency, effectiveness, and continuity.
- Identify and implement process enhancements, automation opportunities, and workflow improvements that reduce manual effort and operational risk.
- Support monthly billing activities and ensure accuracy and completeness of client billing processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that drive productivity and scalability across the business.
Data Governance & Controls- Maintain process documentation, data dictionaries, governance artifacts, and business control documentation.
- Support data quality, security, and governance initiatives to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
- Assist with regulatory reviews, internal audits, testing activities, and remediation efforts.
- Ensure adherence to established risk management, governance, and control frameworks.
Stakeholder Management & Business Support- Partner with Origination, Client Management, Product, Operations, Technology, Risk, and other key stakeholders to support business objectives.
- Gather and document business requirements for reporting, analytics, process improvement, and strategic initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to support solution design and implementation.
- Support change management activities related to new processes, tools, capabilities, and business initiatives.
QualificationsEducation & Experience- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, business intelligence, data analytics, operations, financial services, or a related discipline.
- Experience within Transaction Banking, Treasury Services, Cash Management, Payments, or Capital Markets is considered an asset.
Technical Skills- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong SQL skills with experience working with large datasets.
- Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with Databricks, data warehouses, and modern analytics platforms.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages is an asset.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or similar workflow and documentation tools.
