The OpportunityProvides support - recommendations in several areas. Contacts are primarily with immediate manager, other personnel in group or support staff from other areas. Lead to succeed vs. managing to avoid failure. Drive strategic imperatives by maintaining regular communications with employees or vendor partners.
The Work Itself- Data Product Owner role to help build a centralized data warehouse using Ally's Enterprise Data & Analytics standards.
- Develop curated data layers for business units to utilize for analysis and business insights.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and work closely with data engineering team
- Extract data from traditional data warehouse, big data ecosystems and cloud data warehouses to produce critical Auto data for Business Analysts, Executives and Operational Leadership.
- Partner with the business to consult and translate requirements to design and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights/data visualization.
- Work in Agile team and help formulate technical stories for the data engineering team and help prioritize them based on business-critical data needs.
- Advanced working knowledge of SQL Databases, SAS, Python, DBT and ability to write complex SQL statements to build data tables and reports.
- Stays current with industry trends and leads development of key data/analytics innovation platforms.
- Communicate and display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive, clear, and concise manner.
- Support production reporting and implement data enhancement requests.
The Qualifications We're Looking ForMinimum Qualifications: - 1+ years experience in similar role
- Bachelor's degree in business related discipline
- Education may be used as a proxy for experience
Preferred Qualifications: - 1+ years experience in consumer lending or financial services industry
- Ability to perform technical based activities
- Knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts
- Leveraging technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results

Base Pay Range$65,000.00 - $115,000.00
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
