Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.

Responsibilities:
- Providing budget, forecast, and variance analysis, offering insights and recommendations to improve financial management
- Simplifying complex financial information, providing rationale behind reports and analyses for clear communication
- Collaborating on special projects, offering financial expertise and analysis to drive project success
- Conducting in-depth economic evaluations and business cases to inform strategic financial planning and portfolio decisions
- Identifying emerging financial trends to integrate into strategic planning and inform decision-making
- Partnering with internal finance teams to consolidate financial results
- Partnering with business leaders to deliver on finance projects that support decision-making on strategic growth and operational effectiveness
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

- Executes the extraction, manipulation, visualization and analysis of large, complex data to determine actionable business insights using self-service analytics and reporting tools.
- Communicates findings clearly and concisely through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations to stakeholders, from a finance perspective.
- Provides budget, forecast and variance analysis and related reports as needed.
- Conducts financial research, analyzes financial performance against objectives and determines emerging financial trends.
- Creates and maintains statistical/financial databases and reports. Runs appropriate weekly, monthly and annual reports.
- Provide analytical and statistical support on ad hoc analysis and reporting and identifying/implementing automation opportunities to identify outliers, trends, and/or projections, where appropriate
- Works with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements
- Combines data as needed from disparate data sources to complete analysis
- Reviews analyses of the results of strategic initiatives to measure their effectiveness and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Identifies key business drivers and insights by conducting exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing.
