Job Summary
The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis plays a key role in supporting the monthly forecast and financial performance reporting processes for Connectivity & Platforms. This position partners with Finance teams across the organization to consolidate financial forecasts, analyze business performance, and support executive decision-making through accurate, timely, and insightful reporting.
The role is responsible for evaluating monthly results and forecast outlooks across multiple business units, identifying key drivers of performance, and translating complex financial information into clear, concise narratives for senior leadership. Additionally, this position helps ensure consistency across forecasting processes, validate financial submissions and assumptions, and deliver executive reporting that supports business performance management and financial decision-making.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Support the monthly forecast process across Connectivity & Platforms, including consolidation, review, and reporting of financial results and outlooks.
- Consolidate forecast submissions from business units and functional teams, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment across enterprise-level reporting and planning outputs.
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand business performance, forecast changes, risks, opportunities, and key drivers impacting financial results.
- Perform variance analysis versus Prior Forecast, Budget, Long Range Plan, and prior year results to explain changes in financial performance and outlook.
- Analyze revenue, operating expense, and Adjusted EBITDA trends to identify emerging business dynamics and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Develop executive commentary that synthesizes financial results, forecast updates, and key business drivers into clear, concise narratives for senior leadership.
- Create executive-ready presentations, reporting packages, and leadership materials that translate complex financial information into actionable business insights.
- Support leadership reviews, ad hoc analyses, and process improvement initiatives that enhance forecast accuracy, reporting effectiveness, and planning efficiency.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
