The Americas AMBG Security Lead serves as the deputy to the Global AMBG Security Lead, owning the security agenda across the Americas market. This individual will act as the senior security authority for the region, partnering closely with market and account leaders to embed security and risk practices across our Microsoft business.
Reporting & Structure
This role reports to the Global AMBG Security Lead and works in close coordination with market security leads across the Americas. The position is part of a global network of regional security leads spanning all AMBG markets.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary security point of contact for the Americas market, acting as deputy to the Global AMBG Security Lead.
Drive cybersecurity and risk & compliance priorities across the region, aligned to global AMBG strategy.
Collaborate with regional market leads to embed security practices into accounts, pursuits, and delivery.
Escalate regional security issues, risks, and incidents to the Global Security Lead and relevant stakeholders.
Represent Americas in global security forums, contributing regional perspective to policy and program development.
Support the development and performance of market-level security leads across the Americas geography.
Champion a security-first culture within the AMBG community.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here's what you need
Minimum of 12 years of experience in cybersecurity and/or risk & compliance, ideally within a large consulting or technology environment.
Minimum of 8 years of experience with the Microsoft ecosystem and Accenture's AMBG business is a strong advantage.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Professional Skills Requirements
Demonstrated ability to operate at a senior level, influencing without direct authority across a matrixed organization.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — comfortable engaging with market leads, clients, and global leadership.
Experience managing or coordinating across geographies and time zones.
Self-starter who can navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes with limited oversight.
