THE WORK
As a member of the Instructional Products Support Team (IPST) leadership, you will:
• Serve as the Product Owner and Product Lead for the ALIS/ODIN development team of 20+ personnel including Subject Matter Experts (SME's), Instructional System Designers, Courseware Developers, and Graphic Artists.
• Act as the primary technical authority of the ALIS/ODIN logistics platform within the Instructional Product Support Team (IPST).
• Lead and guide the design, development, and sustainment of all ALIS/ODIN training curriculum, work instructions, and interactive training scenarios, that teach essential ALIS/ODIN administration and user skills while ensuring the technical accuracy of the training materials.
• Oversee the team's workload, schedule, and deliverables by applying Agile principles and leveraging Jira to track progress and report status.
• Serve as the primary liaison, representing the company and ALIS/ODIN training products to the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program Office and to internal Lockheed Martin leadership.
• Plan and support the delivery of ALIS/ODIN courseware products to the F 35 enterprise.
• Define & Prioritize the Product Backlog of Jira stories for product updates and new development.
• Communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders including JPO leadership, program management, instructors, country representatives, and level 2 training centers.
• Communicate with engineering teams to obtain technical documentation and engineering expertise that supports sustainment and development of training products.
• Participate and direct various Agile ceremonies - Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives as well as backlog refinement.
• Maintain Vision and Roadmap alignment with the long-term product roadmap that includes new capabilities that align with delivery schedules.
• Track cost and schedule performance (Earned Value Management) for the ALIS/ODIN instructional products.
• Apply expertise in Linux and Windows system administration as used within ALIS/ODIN to provide technology driven training environments.

This position will be located at the Eglin ATC, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The position requires periodic travel.

Note: This position will require the selected candidate to have an active Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in ALIS/ODIN related roles as a Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator, Instructional designer or other related roles.
• Knowledgeable of COTs and GOTs software related to the ALIS/ODIN logistics platform (CMMS, SCM, SHM, PAIRS, EEL, LOHAS, Windows, Linux, SQL, etc)
• Active Secret Clearance updated within the last 5 years.
• Experience creating and presenting technical documentation into user friendly training material.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).

Desired skills
• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in the F 35 ALIS/ODIN environment, including system administration and security.
• Proficient in Linux and Windows administration; experience creating virtual training simulations.
• Familiarity with instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM) and learning management systems (LMS).
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and the ability to apply it to track cost schedule performance
• Experience in Control Account Management (CAM)
• Prior experience developing aerospace or defense related instructional courseware.
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of conducting training gap analyses and curriculum development.
• Experience working in a joint/multi agency environment and coordinating with DoD acquisition teams.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $147,700 - $255,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
