Position: Algorithms Analysis Engineer
Location: Boulder, CO

• Solve real world problems relevant to the Intel Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) using a combination of FOSS/GOTS/COTS software and hardware.
• Contribute to all aspects of project software development lifecycle from research, prototyping solutions to assess feasibility, integration with external software systems, development, and product deployment. Key

Position Overview:

As an Algorithms Analysis Engineer, As an Algorithms Analysis Engineer - you will be responsible for supporting the development and analysis of specialized combat systems that are providing advanced algorithms to improve tracking, prediction, and discrimination capabilities for emerging threats worldwide. You are expected to communicate technical information effectively and clearly, and present technical approaches and findings.

Essential Functions:
  • Performance analysis of missile tracking and prediction algorithms
  • Analysis of space based sensor constellations
  • Algorithm defect tracking and resolution
  • Analysis tool development (Python & Matlab)
  • Technical presentations and analysis reports as required
  • Work in cross-discipline teams and communicate clearly across various levels of engineers.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Principal Algorithm Analysis Engineer: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years experience, or a PhD and 1 year of experience.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of software development experience with Python and/or C++.
  • Applicants must have Linux experience and working knowledge of common utilities like grep, awk, cat head, etc.
  • Experience developing, analyzing, testing, and implementing extendable / reusable algorithms.
  • Applicants must have algorithm design and state estimation experience.
  • Experience with data analysis - Population statistics and trend identification.
  • The ability to bridge between theoretical concepts and practical implementation.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up-to 10% to support business needs.
  • Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance at the time of application which is required to start; with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Top Secret security clearance.
  • Strong statistical background and skills.
  • Experience in tracking and prediction algorithms, simulation, and validation.
  • Experience with multiple hypothesis tracking.
  • Experience in the numerical implementation of motion filters.

Salary Range: $132,000 - $198,000 + 25%SEP
