The Aladdin Client Business is growing rapidly, with the volume of new client deals growing each year. We are at the next phase of our growth and are evolving into a business with multiple new product launches. Successful candidates will join in our efforts to help our clients onboard the world’s leading end-to-end operating system to manage investment portfolios and transform their business.
We are looking for a candidate to join us in an Associate role within the Aladdin Client Transformation team with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
Your Team
The Aladdin Client Transformation Implementation Operations practice is responsible for the installation and deployment of Aladdin, eFront and related products and services, globally. Aladdin and eFront implementations are high-profile initiatives that provide team members with significant client exposure and play an active role in redefinition of investment organizations. A typical transformation project is at least as much about processes and implementing change as it is about investments & technology. We help clients achieve ambitious strategic objectives, which range from streamlining investment workflows to organizational strategy, to unifying their investment analytics & risk reporting framework, to modernizing their overall investment process. We develop advisory partnerships with our clients at the most senior levels, which continue to grow post go live of our solutions.
You will be joining as an implementation specialist within the Client Transformation team focusing on high value deliverables.
Your Responsibilities
- Understand client objectives and goals paired with strong emotional ownership to deliver solutions utilizing Aladdin and eFront capabilities
- Document, standardize and help scale deliverables, such as investment workflow designs and analytics overviews for various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, derivatives, etc.
- Consult on behalf of our business primarily through our products
- Aid in developing improved practices to make client transformations more efficient with each new project
- Able to work with various data sources in order to design solutions involving data visualization tools
Your Qualifications
- Understanding of investment management with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to internal team members or clients
- Well organized with the ability to manage several priorities with a hands-on approach
- Enjoys a fast paced, high-intensity and complex environment, troubleshooting time critical issues and working with people
- Strong attention to detail; willing to take proactive action, and desire to roll up sleeves
Nice If You Have
- Experience with institutional buy-side investment technology platforms
- Working experience in investment organizations
- Consulting experience
- Experience with platform integrations (e.g., interfaces, APIs)
- Professional designations or pursuit toward attaining (e.g., CFA, CAIA, FRM)
For Los Angeles, CA Only the salary range for this position is USD$115,000.00 - USD$147,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
