Position Summary
Thales Canada, Defense & Security has a vacancy for a Program Engineer - Electrical to support its Non-Combatant In-Service Support Programs for the Royal Canadian Navy, mainly the AOPS and JSS In-Service (AJISS) Program.
As part of the AJISS Engineering team, the primary role of the Program Engineer – Electrical is to support the Coastal Support team and the Service Delivery team with the management of defects for the Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessels (AOPVs) and Joint Support Ships (JSS). The role also supports the greater Engineering and Supportability Teams with various activities such as margin management, creation of Deviations & Waivers or surveys onboard the ships while alongside.
The role may also be called upon to support the Minor War & Auxiliary vessels (MWAV) program. Activities would include the same support in terms of support to defect rectification and surveys but also involved the development and implementation of Engineering Changes.
Regulatory Compliance Requirement
This position requires direct or indirect access to hardware, software or technical information controlled under the Canadian Export Control List and/or the US the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be eligible or able to obtain authorization for such access.

Pay Transparency
The anticipated Total Target Compensation (TTC), inclusive of annual salary and bonus eligibility, for this role is $100,000 to 140,000 CAD Annual. The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s status protected by local, provincial, and federal laws.
