Position Summary:

AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Everett, WA that is a leading global aerospace company and top U.S. exporter, Boeing develops, manufactures and services commercial airplanes, defense products and space systems for customers in more than 150 countries. We are looking for skilled Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer to assist with this client's needs.

An Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer ensures that aircraft, systems, and components comply with federal safety and airworthiness regulations throughout design, certification, production, and in-service operation.

Essential Functions:
  • Lead and conduct structured investigations into regulatory compliance issues, including FAA Letters of Investigation, audit findings, voluntary disclosures, and Part 25 airworthiness non-compliances.
  • Coordinate with systems, structures, propulsion, and other functional teams to identify root causes and corrective actions, and to implement actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Work with Organizational Designation Authorization (ODA) representatives to ensure reports and documentation meet regulatory expectations.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and regulatory agencies (e.g., FAA) to resolve compliance issues and support certification activities.
  • Develop, review, and maintain compliance documentation, reports, and corrective action plans.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and procedures related to compliance and certification activities.
  • Communicate complex technical and regulatory issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.


Requirements

  • Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead or participate in cross-functional teams and manage complex problem-solving activities.
