Aircraft Mechanic Instructor!

What You'll Do- Deliver dynamic, hands-on instruction in aircraft maintenance that bridges theory and practice.
- Create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment where students are empowered to succeed.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and academic leaders to continuously improve our FAA-aligned curriculum.
- Keep the lab organized, safe, and stocked with properly maintained tools and equipment.
- Manage key administrative duties-think grading, attendance tracking, and regulatory compliance-with precision and professionalism.
- Mentor students, track progress, and proactively address retention issues.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and instructor evaluations.
- Support our mission by attending faculty meetings, leading training sessions, and completing education modules.
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic Certificate
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong grasp of contemporary aircraft systems and repair practices
- Effective communication skills with a student-first mindset
- Organized, tech-savvy, and ready to adapt in a compliance-driven environment
- Flexibility to work outside scheduled hours as needed
Preferred:
- Associate degree in a related field
- Experience with CampusNexus or similar student management systems
