As the Technical Publications Writer - Level 3 you will be responsible for translating complex engineering data into clear, accurate maintenance documentation that keeps aircraft operational and safe.
What You Will Be DoingIn this position you will plan, coordinate, direct, and/or perform engineering assignments involving specifications for, and design changes or alterations to, aircraft, engines, systems, components, and field or shop equipment. You will investigate and analyze project requirements and operating problems and develop recommended solutions to meet company governmental safety and performance standards including Minimum Equipment List (MEL). You will evaluate, select, apply, and/or adapt engineering modifications; design or recommend new or modified parts and components. You will analyze reparability of parts and components and evaluate operating data on parts, components, and systems to establish causes and to determine remedies for wear, malfunctions, or premature removals. You will analyze and evaluate aircraft and associated equipment proposals; prepare technical data, procedures, reports, drawings, manuals, and other required publications.
Your responsibilities will include:- Develop and deliver technically accurate maintenance documentation both independently and as part of a team.
- Verify and certify publication content to ensure corrective actions are met and documentation complies with all requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and customer support representatives to gather necessary technical data.
- Communicate proactively with engineering and customers to fulfill program requirements.
- Travel as needed to support field operations and customer engagements.

- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience with markup language authoring (Knowledgeable in element and attribute XML tagging for S1000D-compliant interactive electronic publications)

- Experience with electronic technical publications task relationships, applicability, and change management.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
