Job Description

F-35 Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor assigned to NAS Patuxent River's F-35 Integrated Test Force (ITF). Provides full spectrum leadership to the ITF's Flight Test Maintenance department represented personnel deployed to NAS Patuxent River.

Provides close coordination directly with the ITF's Maintenance Managers for all maintenance activities associated with the leadership and management of personnel and resources. Specifically, this includes providing technical direction, personnel actions such as performance recognition, employee recruitment, staffing, and disciplinary actions for hourly personnel.

Scope of responsibilities include delivering detailed aircraft maintenance planning for F-35 aircraft and support equipment.
• Manages general services, repairs, and overhauls of F-35 aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight.
• Ensures good housekeeping and safety practices are enforced for the Development Foundation Contract (DFC).
• Directs periodic inspections and general repairs or modifications requiring replacement and assembly of parts. Provides technical assistance as required.
• Creates and assign work-orders in the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).
• Assists in signing the aircraft exceptional release off and verifying aircraft are safe for flight.
• Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands, working at heights with fall protection devices. May be required to lift up to 50 pounds and carry for short distances.
• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
• Must be deployable to US Naval vessels and throughout the continental US.
• Must be flexible to support 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts and weekend duty.

Selected candidate will be integral to test planning and coordination with Test Operations, Flight Operations, Air Vehicle Engineering, Logistics, Safety, Quality & Mission Success, GFR/Aviation Performance Team and NAS Patuxent River base agencies. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

A level 3 employee Generally has 3+ years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $69,900 - $123,280. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $80,400 - $139,380. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
