Job Title: Aircraft Engine Inspector

Working Pattern: Fulltime/Onsite

Working Location: Meridian, Mississippi

Relocation is not available for this position

Position Summary:

As the Quality Assurance Representative for Rolls-Royce, you will perform in-process and final inspections that require QA certification. You may also be required to utilize rotor balance machines, drills, dial indicators, calipers, depth micrometers, blast cabinets and other equipment applicable to engine disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair and assembly. As well as audit and monitor all levels of maintenance, review and validate Technical Directives, technical publications and quality inspection points.

What you will be doing:

• Participate in managed and monitored QA programs and processes identified in CNAFINST 4790.2 and the Quality System Plan; perform audits and monitor for process compliance
• Read and interpret technical publications, maintenance manuals, service bulletins and other specifications in order to verify conformity to specifications and aid in the evaluation for serviceability of material
• Conduct in-process inspections on engines and components, sub-components, modules and all fuel, oil, and air related systems against required technical publications, service bulletins, or directives
• Review technical manuals and instructions for content and applicability
• Initiate and track discrepancy and defect reports through the Joint Discrepancy Reporting System (JDRS)
• Manage technical document library program

Basic Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent with 5+ years' experience in general aviation or aircraft field and/or engine or module repair/overhaul and/or previous inspection or evaluator experience
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - especially Excel
• Ability to work varying shifts and overtime
• In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires US citizenship

Preferred:

• A&P License
• Adour F405 engine repair/overhaul experience
• Adour F405 Level 1 inspector experience
• Prior experience in compliance auditing
