Yulista is actively seeking an Aircraft Electrical Engineer III to join our team in Lakehurst, NJ. You'll play a critical role in advancing mission-ready systems for some of the most iconic aircraft in military aviation. This is more than a job-it's a chance to make a lasting impact.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Research and analyze data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
  • Design electrical systems or sub-systems in support of aircraft integration, research, or maintenance requirements.
  • Coordinate, troubleshoot, and approve installation activities as inspection services to ensure products and systems conform to electrical engineering design and specifications.
  • Interface and communicate with other Electrical, Mechanical and EMI/EMC Engineers, Program Managers, Quality Assurance Manager, Configuration Manager, Engineering Manager and others as required for the design and integration on all assigned project requirements.
  • Interface and communicate with the client in coordination with project leaders and management.
  • Provide support for preparation of electrical related drawing and specifications in the engineering data CAD package that include wiring diagrams, cable harnesses, cable routing and electrical assemblies.
  • Research and specify required electrical component selection, wire or coaxial cable, connectors, circuit breakers, relays, component specifications, and other related parts or assemblies required.
  • Briefing preparation and presentation to the client to include Kickoff Meeting, PDR, CDR, IPR's and misc. briefing as required.
  • Report writing and test plans including air worthiness documentation reports that includes but not limited to: Electrical Load and Power Source Capacity and Analysis, System Safety Assessment, and others as required.
  • Provide guidance to avionic technicians, Draftsman, Technical Writers, Production personnel, or other support personnel as/if required on assigned projects.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: As a level III Aircraft Electrical Engineer, some Supervisory responsibilities may be included.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 8 to 10 years of job-related experience.
  • Must have B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college.
  • Must have good communication and analytical skills, working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs such as Power Point, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Position requires the ability to maintain a Security Clearance.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS in Engineering and 8 -10 years of experience
  • Requires excellent communication and analytical skills.

  • Position may require some travel.
  • Position requires the ability to maintain an active Security Clearance
