Overviewi3 isseekingahighly motivated and experiencedAir and Missile Defense (AMD) Integrated Defense Design (IDD) Team Product Owner (PO).In this critical role, youwill work as a member of the Army Program Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO).This position is expected to be performed fully onsite in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the prioritization and validation of the development software for the IDD team.
- Reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms.
- Providing guidance to the development team.
- Workwith Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each product increment and sprint.
- Provideinclude technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impactstothe IFMC mission.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Have a bachelor27s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics
- Have a minimum of10years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above
- Have basic knowledge of Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Command and Control (C2) and/or planning software
- Have the ability toprovide oversight to SW development team and verify the teams work based on agreed upon acceptance criteria, including SW code reviews
- Be able to work directly with the Agile software developers
- Have a minimum of 10 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above
- Ability to obtain andmaintaina DoD security clearance
- U.S. Citizenship is required
