Full Job Description
We are seeking a AIML Analyst to join the team supporting the Air Force Technical Applications Center at Patrick Space Force Base in Melbourne, Florida.

The AIML Analyst will be conducting research into the use of seismic and infrasound data for treaty monitoring purposes as well as assisting with the management and installation of external deliverables for seismic and infrasound tools.

NOTE: This is not a remote/telework job. This job requires the selected applicant to have an active U.S. Government-issued security clearance at time of hire and, therefore, requires U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities
• Model signal propagation through realistic atmospheres.
• Investigate signal-source scaling for a variety of source conditions.
• Develop or execute automation codes, machine learning, or other data analysis techniques for technical evaluation and scientific analysis of unique data sets.
• Evaluate techniques for wind noise suppression with existing and experimental sensor technologies.
• Conduct general infrasound research in support of the AFTAC geophysical mission.
• Support software installation in the Common Developmental Environment for AFTAC geophysicists.
• Prepare executive level briefings as required.
• Perform documentation reviews.
• Prepare technical reports on integration and installation support issues and recommend corrective actions to senior government executives.
• Attend meetings at the direction of the government, report analytic findings, track progress, and recommend corrective actions.

Basic Qualifications
• General experience using Microsoft Office products including Excel, Power Point, and Word.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary to communicate with executives.
• Experience working within a government Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
• Experience deriving and marking classified documents according to the National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) and security classification guides.
• Experience analyzing geophysical data or similar waveforms.
