DescriptionAI Workflow EngineerCompany: Elite Insurance Partners
Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
About the RoleEIP is looking for a hands-on AI Workflow Engineer to design and build AI-powered workflows, automations, and internal tools that improve how our sales organization operates. You will combine practical software development with LLM prompt engineering, workflow design, and rapid prototyping to take ideas from rough business problems to working solutions.
This role is for someone who can build, not just advise. You should be comfortable writing code, designing multi-step AI workflows, testing output quality, and independently iterating until a solution is useful and reliable.
What You Will Do- Design, build, and continuously refine prompts and multi-step AI workflows that support sales and internal business processes.
- Engineer workflow logic including chaining, conditionals, routing, and evaluation steps to improve accuracy, tone, reliability, and usefulness.
- Build internal tools, scripts, and automations using Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
- Prototype working applications and internal tools using AI-assisted development, taking projects from rough idea to something employees can actually use.
- Create systematic testing and evaluation approaches to measure output quality and determine whether changes are actually improving performance.
- Diagnose ambiguous problems, map the workflow, build a prototype, test it, and iterate toward a practical solution independently.
- Identify inefficiencies across sales handoffs, feedback loops, quality assurance processes, and related workflows, then build or design improvements.
- Partner with sales and business teams to understand pain points, gather feedback, and drive adoption of the solutions you build.
- Translate business needs into clear technical designs and specifications when work needs to be handed to or coordinated with other engineers.
- Document technical decisions, workflows, testing approaches, and implementation details so solutions can be maintained and scaled.
What We Are Looking For- Hands-on scripting and automation experience using Python, JavaScript, or a similar language; you can build a working tool or automation yourself.
- Practical experience with LLM prompt engineering, including designing, testing, and iterating prompts against real output quality.
- Experience building AI-enabled workflows, internal tools, prototypes, or automation solutions.
- Ability to break down ambiguous business problems, design a solution, build a prototype, and iterate independently.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging instincts.
- Strong written communication and attention to the clarity and usefulness of AI-generated output.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in plain language and collaborate effectively with sales and other nontechnical teams.
- A self-starter mentality with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in sales enablement, revenue operations, customer-facing SaaS, or B2B software.
- Familiarity with conversation intelligence, quality assurance, or sales performance tools.
- Product management or product design experience, including writing technical specifications, requirements, or wireframes.
Benefits and Perks- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid time off
- Hybrid work environment
- On-site gym and relaxation room
- Opportunity to work on practical AI initiatives that directly impact the business
- Collaborative, high-performance culture with room to grow
