Strong understanding of AI concepts and their applications in healthcare, including AI governance frameworks, risk management approaches, and ethical AI principles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex AI and analytics concepts in an accessible manner.
Executive-level presence and comfortable providing training and support to clinicians and organizational leaders.
Ability to develop effective training materials and conduct engaging training sessions, tailored to various learning styles and job functions
Ability to empathize with individuals in diverse roles and an eagerness to spend time understanding their unique job experiences.
Ability to contribute independently at a high level to AI literacy across the organization.
Sound judgement in balancing innovation, organizational value, safety, equity, and regulatory requirements when evaluating AI initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Works with extremely diverse stakeholders across the organization ranging from business to clinical users to deeply understand their jobs and tasks and identify opportunities for AI to accelerate their work.
Collaborates to collect qualitative and quantitative data to determine the effectiveness of AI to improve productivity and reduce burnout.
Creates educational materials, including guides, tutorials, and online resources to implement AI literacy initiatives supporting responsible AI usage.
Apply governance, risk, and ethics frameworks to evaluate AI initiatives and identify potential concerns requiring mitigation or escalation
Effectively collaborates with team members and stakeholders across the health system to facilitate discussions regarding responsible AI adoption
Collaborates with technology teams to stay updated on new AI tools and developments.
Communicates technical topics effectively to various levels and teams.
Tracks and reports on the progress of AI literacy among staff, identifying areas for improvement and additional training needs.
Participates in the assessment of AI tools and solutions for potential adoption within the hospital system.
Contribute to roadmap planning, operating model development, and continuous improvement initiatives within the AI Program Team.
