Almac Group is currently seeking a AI Specialist for our Durham, NC location. The AI Specialist will act as a central resource for Clinical Services AI initiatives, supporting the evaluation, design, development, testing and deployment of AI solutions that address business needs and deliver measurable value across the business
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Analyze end user needs to design, develop, implement, support, and optimize AI enabled solutions
- Identify, assess and trial innovative digital, data, automation and AI capabilities that enable process simplification, efficiency gains and business transformation
- Collaborate with Clinical Services Copilot Champions to share best practices, promote knowledge exchange and leverage AI solutions developed across other business areas.
- Ensure delivered solutions comply with Almac governance, software development, quality, and information security standards.
Qualifications:Required Experience / Education:
- BA Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 months in Data analysis
- Minimum of 6 months using Artificial Intelligence and machine learning tools
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Developing Microsoft Copilot Agents
Preferred Experience / Education:
- BA Degree or Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Analysis, Digital Technologies, or a related discipline.
- Delivering value added solutions and providing cost benefit analysis to the proposed solutions.
- Clearly documenting the proposed design.
- 6 months developing new solutions or working with commercial off-the-shelf tools.
