Summary:
The AI Solutions Engineer I develops and supports enterprise AI-enabled applications that improve operational efficiency, decision support, and user productivity. Working with senior engineers and business stakeholders, this role translates business requirements into intelligent workflows, conversational applications, and AI-assisted solutions using approved enterprise platforms and Ballad Health data assets.

Key Responsibilities
AI Solution DevelopmentAssist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying AI-enabled applications, intelligent workflows, and conversational solutions using approved enterprise AI platforms.
Workflow Design Collaborate with clinical, operational, and business stakeholders to understand business processes and design AI-assisted solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.
Solution Testing Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, consistency, accuracy, and alignment with business requirements while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Documentation Maintain documentation for solution design, implementation, testing procedures, and operational support.
Collaboration Partner with Data Engineering, Analytics, Information Technology, and operational teams to ensure AI solutions integrate effectively with enterprise systems and workflows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- One year of relevant experience.
- Foundational experience with SQL and one or more modern programming languages (Python preferred).
- Familiarity with cloud-based development environments or workflow automation platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
