Job Summary
We are seeking an AI Search Engineer to design, develop, and enable AI-driven search and discovery solutions within enterprise environments.
This role combines technical expertise in AI/ML and Generative AI with strong stakeholder collaboration to drive adoption, build scalable solutions, and enhance user experiences.
The ideal candidate will work across product, engineering, and business teams to implement intelligent search capabilities and improve platform usability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-powered search solutions using modern AI/ML and Generative AI frameworks
- Develop and optimize search pipelines including embeddings, vector search, and retrieval mechanisms
- Build and integrate LLM-based applications and agentic workflows into enterprise systems
- Support platform adoption through enablement, training, and technical guidance
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to align solutions with requirements
- Translate business needs into scalable AI solutions and technical implementations
- Monitor performance metrics such as latency, accuracy, and system reliability
- Establish feedback loops to improve product features and user experience
- Conduct testing, validation, and quality checks for AI solutions
- Ensure alignment with governance, security, and compliance standards
- Create documentation, playbooks, and best practices for AI solution usage
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in AI/ML, AI solutions engineering, or related roles
- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Experience working with AI/ML platforms and building scalable solutions
- Strong understanding of search technologies including vector databases and retrieval systems
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in dynamic environments
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- Experience with Generative AI technologies including LLMs, RAG, and agent-based systems
- Familiarity with frameworks such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, or LangChain
- Experience with MLOps or LLMOps practices including CI/CD, monitoring, and evaluation
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience leading technical workshops, training, or enablement programs
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow
