Full Job Description
AI Integration Engineer

We're looking for an AI Integration Engineer to help shape how artificial intelligence transforms our systems, workflows, and decision-making. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll bring AI to life across the organization-connecting tools, data, and teams to unlock smarter ways of working.

You'll collaborate across technology and business teams to identify opportunities, rapidly test solutions, and scale what works. If you enjoy working in a fast-evolving space and turning emerging technology into real business outcomes, this role is for you.

What You'll Do
  • Configure and deploy modern AI tools and platforms to support internal use cases
  • Design and build integrations connecting AI solutions to core systems and data
  • Develop automations and APIs to enable scalable, efficient workflows
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand needs and deliver practical AI-driven solutions
  • Ensure AI tools are well-integrated, secure, and performant within our cloud environment
  • Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and continuously improve implementations
  • Stay current on AI advancements and bring forward new ideas to test and apply
  • Support adoption by sharing knowledge, documentation, and guidance with teammates

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with cloud technologies, integrations, or software engineering
  • Strong interest in AI and curiosity about how it can drive real-world impact
  • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and AI platforms
  • Experience configuring, integrating, or supporting technical tools and systems
  • Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services
  • Experience with scripting or programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Ruby)
  • Familiarity with data formats and transformations (e.g., JSON, XML, CSV)
  • Experience with AI, automation, or data platforms (e.g., OpenAI/Azure OpenAI/AWS Bedrock, Workato/Boomi/MuleSoft, Databricks/Snowflake) is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly with the support of your team
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • You're energized by building and experimenting in a fast-changing environment
  • You take initiative and follow through, while staying flexible as priorities evolve
  • You balance speed with thoughtful decision-making and a focus on outcomes
  • You stay organized and manage multiple priorities with clarity and focus
  • You enjoy working both independently and collaboratively to solve problems

Why This Role
  • Work at the forefront of applied AI in a role where your contributions are visible and meaningful
  • Be part of a team that values experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement
  • Help shape how AI is used across the organization-this is not a "plug-and-play" environment

Our Values

Best Together | Impact-Focused | Raise the Bar | Keep Evolving | Own It

A Note to Candidates

If you're excited about this role but don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply. We value diverse experiences, perspectives, and ways of thinking.

Working with Real HART: Since the pandemic, we have adapted to how our people told us they want to work. We have office locations in cities in the US, UK, and Europe with many employees and clients that serve as hubs where and when they need us. For employees who are within an hour of one of our offices, we expect attendance in the office two days per week, either at a Real Chemistry office or onsite with clients. We are also actively opening new office locations, so if one opens near you, our Real HART policy will apply. We are not looking for attendance for the sake of attendance but believe that the opportunity to coordinate in-office team meetings, 1:1 meetings with managers, taking advantage of on-site learning, and connecting with client partners is a critical to delivering on our purpose of making healthcare what it should be. Outside of these offices, we have regions, where people work remotely but come together quarterly for collaboration, culture and learning opportunities. We call this our Real Hybrid and Regional Teams (Real HART) approach. Real Chemistry believes we are best together - and our workplace strategy fosters connection and collaboration in person - but also supports flexibility for our people.
