Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Craft and execute an innovative AI strategy that will revolutionize the Army Intelligence Enterprise. Your vision will guide technology solutions and set the standard for excellence.

  • Technical Oversight & Project Management: Lead high-impact AI projects from conception to completion. Your expertise will ensure seamless project planning and the successful execution of complex technical activities.

  • Research & Innovation: Spearhead cutting-edge research initiatives and explore advanced AI projects. Stay at the forefront of technology by assessing and integrating emerging innovations from industry, academia, and external agencies to enhance Army Intelligence capabilities.

  • Requirements & Feasibility Analysis: Define and evaluate AI and data system requirements to ensure they meet technical feasibility, functional adequacy, and align with evolving Army materiel requirements.

  • Enterprise Standardization: Collaborate with data teams to establish, enforce, and maintain data and AI standards across the Intelligence Enterprise, ensuring consistency and excellence.

  • Documentation & Compliance: Create comprehensive AI documentation that meets Government review and approval standards, ensuring all technical materials are of the highest quality.

Qualifications:

  • An active DoD TS/SCI clearance.

  • 10+ years of experience in software development (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance) and a bachelor's degree.

  • In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (including front and back end).

  • AWS Experience.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript.

  • Backend development experience with common languages like Python, Java, Node.JS, etc.

  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for deploying and managing AI applications.

  • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and NoSQL databases.

  • Experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to problems.

  • Demonstrated technical innovation in supporting business objectives and mission.

  • Strong knowledge of AI, including feasibility analysis and performance requirements.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
