About the Team Agentic Creation Effect House is TikTok's official AR creation platform, empowering millions of global creators to design and publish interactive effects. We are now reimagining the entire effects creation workflow with AI and LLMs. Our goal is to make building AR effects as intuitive and conversational as coding with tools like Cursor or Copilot-where creators can simply describe their ideas, and AI assists with scene setup, effect generation, and iterative refinement. Responsibilities - Prototype AI-assisted effect creation workflows driven by LLMs and multi-modal generation. - Explore conversational or prompt-driven editing, allowing creators to describe effects and see real-time results. - Collaborate with engineers and designers to integrate LLM suggestions into our editor, including: Auto-generating effect templates; Smart parameter recommendations and Scene or asset auto-composition. - Conduct experiments with multi-turn AI interaction: chaining generation - refinement - publishing. - Participate in advanced research and proof-of-concepts for next-generation Effect House features.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. - Strong interest in AI-driven creative workflows, LLM applications, or AIGC tools. - Experience in at least one area: LLMs & Generative AI: OpenAI API, LangChain, multimodal model usage; Creative tool development: React, WebGL/Three.js, Canvas; or Media/Effect workflows: Blender, Unreal, After Effects, or real-time graphics. - Quick learner with hands-on prototyping ability and willingness to explore new AI UX paradigms. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with multi-turn AI workflows or tool automation using LLMs. - Have good product sense, passionate about great user experiences. - Passionate about TikTok, augmented reality, as well as creating the most fun, original and creative ideas and experiences.

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $128000 - $256000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
