Job Summary:
Seeking an AI .NET Developer with 5+ years of professional software engineering experience developing scalable .NET, cloud-based, or web services applications in high-volume environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with .NET, event-driven architecture, cloud-native platforms, Kafka, databases, and Generative AI-assisted software development. This role focuses on building reliable, ultra-low-latency financial technology solutions while applying AI-assisted practices across the Software Development Life Cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and event-driven applications using .NET, Kafka, and cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Build and modernize high-volume services, APIs, and distributed application capabilities supporting transaction processing and business-critical workflows.
• Partner with architects, product owners, developers, and adjacent technology teams to translate business capabilities into technical solutions.
• Use Generative AI coding assistants to support implementation, refactoring, unit testing, regression testing, code reviews, scripting, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Apply agentic workflows, prompt engineering, custom instructions, and spec-driven development practices to improve software engineering productivity.
• Strengthen engineering quality through automated testing, code reviews, performance analysis, observability, resiliency practices, and production readiness.
• Support modernization initiatives by transitioning legacy capabilities toward distributed .NET services, cloud-native platforms, and modern data stores.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish repeatable and responsible AI-assisted software development practices.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience developing scalable .NET, cloud-based, or web services applications in high-volume environments.
• 4+ years of experience building and deploying cloud-native applications using GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• 2+ years of experience with databases such as MongoDB, Aerospike, or PostgreSQL.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with AI/ML implementation or AI-assisted engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with .NET, Kafka, IBM MQ, Splunk, JSON/XML, and caching technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as PCF, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with Large Language Models such as GPT, Claude, or Gemini.
• Experience with Generative AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development, Behavior-Driven Development, and QA automation.
• Proficiency in creating architecture diagrams, design documentation, and technical specifications.
• Experience with performance engineering, reliability testing, and resiliency validation for distributed platforms.
• Exposure to AI-assisted SDLC transformation initiatives or developer productivity programs.
• Experience mentoring peers in .NET engineering, cloud-native implementation, or AI-assisted software delivery.
