Job Summary WINTrio LLC is seeking an experienced
AI Developer / Engineer to design, develop, optimize, integrate, and operationalize Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions supporting mission-critical Federal programs.
This position will support the full lifecycle of enterprise AI solutions, including RAG applications, chatbots, predictive models, document processing, fraud detection, data science workloads, and AI-enabled automation. The successful candidate will develop and tune AI/ML models, integrate models into production applications, build CI/CD-enabled deployment processes, and support solutions across Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and other approved environments.
The ideal candidate possesses strong AI/ML engineering experience combined with production software development, Python programming, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, observability, and modern cloud engineering skills.
Job Responsibilities - Design and develop machine learning models, algorithms, and production AI solutions.
- Implement, optimize, tune, and improve AI and ML solutions for performance, reliability, scalability, and accuracy.
- Develop supervised and unsupervised machine learning models supporting predictive analytics, anomaly detection, fraud detection, workload forecasting, routing, and optimization.
- Build and support retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications, generative AI solutions, and chatbot services.
- Develop AI solutions using Azure OpenAI and comparable other AI services.
- Support predictive modeling using Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, or other approved platforms.
- Develop document translation, summarization, and processing solutions using cloud-native AI services.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Software Engineers to integrate AI and ML models into production applications.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to generate actionable insights.
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, and statistical analysis.
- Develop, evaluate, and tune AI models using appropriate algorithms and datasets.
- Integrate trained models with front-end, middleware, API, and back-end application components.
- Develop reusable AI engineering patterns across cloud and SaaS environments.
- Support onboarding and refactoring of externally developed AI applications into enterprise AI environments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting AI applications and model deployment.
- Manage Git-based source code repositories and development workflows.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and related tooling.
- Integrate observability, logging, metrics, and monitoring capabilities into AI engineering workflows.
- Document AI/ML models, experiments, configurations, performance metrics, deployment procedures, and operational processes.
- Support security boundary, ATO, data management, access control, and AI governance requirements.
- Participate in Agile sprints, demonstrations, testing, debugging, and production support.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant AI, Machine Learning, software engineering, or application development experience.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing machine learning models and algorithms.
- Strong understanding of machine learning principles and modern AI technologies.
- Experience implementing, evaluating, tuning, and optimizing AI/ML solutions.
- Experience integrating machine learning models into production systems.
- Experience analyzing large and complex datasets.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, JavaScript, or related programming languages.
- Experience with Terraform or comparable Infrastructure as Code technologies.
- Expertise managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Git-based code management and version control.
- Experience integrating observability tools into AI/ML development and engineering.
- Strong analytical, testing, debugging, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain favorable Federal Public Trust suitability.

Work Environment - Full-time position.
- The primary place of performance is virtual.
- Standard operating hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern Time.
- Occasional work outside normal business hours may be required based on program needs.
- All work must be performed within the United States.
