In this role, you'll work alongside business and technical leaders to design and implement practical solutions in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Position

The AI Applicants Developer (Limited Term) is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying internal software tools and applications leveraging artificial intelligence and automation technologies. This role focuses on translating defined business requirements into functional applications that improve operational efficiency, enable data-driven decision making, and support scalable digital solutions across the organization.

 

Working in close collaboration with Process Excellence teams, the role will rapidly build practical, production-ready tools, validate performance against defined use cases, and support deployment into real-world environments. The role requires a hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset in a fast-paced and evolving technical landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement AI-enabled applications and tools based on defined requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and iterate solutions, resolving bugs, issues, and improving features.
  • Evaluate and deploy new and improved AI development tools and workflows.
  • Deploy applications and support adoption across teams.
  • Test, debug, and validate applications for reliability and performance. Coordinate with validation teams and support software validation practices as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Demonstrated experience developing applications, automations, AI solutions, or data-driven tools.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing and deploying AI-enabled applications (not just models)
  • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or AI orchestration tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, or similar technologies
  • Exposure to regulated or quality-controlled environments
  • Demonstrated interest in process improvement and operational efficiency

Working Conditions

 

This role may involve working in a controlled cleanroom environment, general office setting, or specific manufacturing areas. Conditions may include:

  • Exposure to varying temperatures, both indoors (heated/air-conditioned spaces) and outdoors
  • Noise levels range from quiet to loud, depending on the work area
  • Specific vision abilities, including near vision, visual acuity, and color discrimination

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required and may include:

  • Respirators, gloves, safety glasses, and full protective clothing
  • Compliance with cleanroom gowning protocols (e.g., removal of all jewelry, including piercings)
  • Prohibition of cosmetics, fragrances (perfume, aftershave), and nail products, including polish, artificial nails, or extensions

As a radiopharmaceutical manufacturing site, radiation may be present in the laboratory and production areas. Employees in this role may be required to:

  • Follow strict radiation safety procedures
  • Participate in dosimetry monitoring and bioassay testing as part of the company protocol
  • Inform leadership of any health conditions that may affect product integrity, by cleanroom standards
