Roles and Responsibilities - Develop and refine physics-based models, digital twins, and system simulations for HELLFIRE and JAGM missile guidance, propulsion, sensors, and terminal engagement behavior.
- Perform simulation-based performance analysis to support design evaluations, software updates, and system improvements.
- Conduct verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A) of models in accordance with DoD standards.
- Analyze flight test and ground test data to calibrate and improve simulation fidelity.
- Support lethality, survivability, and operational effectiveness studies.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, test, software, and platform integration teams to ensure simulation tools accurately reflect weapon capabilities and interfaces.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and briefings for leadership, stakeholders, and review boards.
Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of related technical experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD secret clearance
- Experience with digital modeling and simulation (M&S)
Preferred Qualifications- Strong foundation in modeling & simulation, physics, aerospace engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience with HELLFIRE and JAGM missile systems, guidance/navigation/control (GNC), or weapon performance modeling preferred.
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and communicate technical findings clearly.
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition, test processes, and VV&A standards is a plus.
