As an Agility Senior Associate in Consumer & Community Banking, you will contribute to the team by guiding and supporting solution delivery teams in adopting and adapting agile practices throughout the product development lifecycle. Leveraging your advanced knowledge of agile principles, you will facilitate group discussions, decision-making processes, and collaborative activities to build continuous improvement and high performance. Your expertise in coaching, communication, and leadership will enable you to effectively manage complex projects, foster a culture of innovation, and enable the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.

You will be a champion for the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile and flow-based ways of working. Leveraging your deep knowledge of product delivery methodologies and Agile principles, you will provide expert guidance, mentorship, and coaching to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance. As a recognized subject matter expert, you will work on complex issues, exercise sound judgment, and make decisions that influence the operational direction of your sub-function. Your leadership and communication skills will empower teams to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently while adapting to changing priorities.

Job responsibilities

  • Facilitate the adoption and adaptation of agile methodologies within teams and provide guidance, training, and support to propel continuous improvement and high performance
  • Create an environment of collaboration within the teams that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts
  • Enable agile project delivery byfacilitatingthe prioritization of tasks and managing resources to effectively address complex situations to achieve project goals
  • Analyze and interpret policies,identifykey barriers, and apply your critical thinking skills to address challenges within the product development lifecycle
  • Lead and enable multiple Kanban teams to drive predictable delivery, partnering with Product Agility Leads and Kanban leadership to standardize practices, policies, reporting, and portfolio execution
  • Establish and maintain intake policies, capacity allocation, and prioritization routines while ensuring high-priority work is refined, ready, and effectively replenished for delivery teams

  • Monitor and improve lead time, cycle time, throughput, WIP, aging WIP, and predictability; identify and resolve bottlenecks while facilitating key agile cadences including intake, triage, replenishment, and daily workflows. Kanban, weekly touchpoints, quarterly planning, and retrospectives with a focus on flow
  • Define and enforce WIP limits, explicit policies, Definition of Ready/Done, and pull policies. Coach teams and stakeholders on stop starting, start finishing.
  • Train teams and leaders on Kanban practices. This includes classes of service, workflow policies, and flow efficiency, as well as supporting ongoing maturity improvements
  • Surface impediments early and manage cross-team dependencies. Drive resolution with clear ownership and escalation paths
  • Configure and optimize Kanban boards, workflows, and reporting while leveraging approved AI and automation capabilities to improve productivity, streamline processes, ensure data integrity, and drive continuous improvement

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalentexpertisein a relevant domain, with a focus on guiding teams to adopt agile methodologies and practices
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of multiple product development lifecycle stages, methodologies, and best practices
  • Demonstrateproficiencyinfacilitatinggroup discussions, decision-making processes, and collaborative activities within teams to achieve product goals
  • Showcaseproficiencyin agile delivery and agile approaches, with a developing ability to coach teams and strive for continuous improvement and high performance
  • 5+ years in Kanban delivery/flow leadership roles
  • Strong facilitation skills with senior stakeholders. Drive alignment on policies, priorities, and ways of working
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and operating Kanban systems. This includes WIP limits, explicit policies, classes of service, replenishment, and aging work management
  • Proficiency with Jira and delivery analytics/reporting. Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tooling
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and change management skills
