Agile Scrum Master / Project Manager

This position requires a Public Trust or eligibility to obtain one

The Agile Scrum Master / Project Manager provides senior-level management and consulting expertise in support of IT programs and application development projects. This position provides technical support in systems analysis and design, project management coordination, project planning, risk and issue management, and the development of project documentation and methodologies. The role works closely with Government staff, application teams, and business process reengineering teams to support successful program and project execution.

Compensation & Benefits

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Agile Scrum Master / Project Manager: $185,000 60,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Agile Scrum Master / Project Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Provides senior-level management and consultant skills to support IT.
  • Provides technical support in systems analysis and design for ongoing projects.
  • Provides support to Government staff in estimating budget needs and preparing justification documentation.
  • Prepares briefing reports and presentation materials.
  • Provides technical briefings on application development projects as directed by staff.
  • Provides Project Management Professional (PMP) coordination and support to application teams.
  • Manages project schedules, issues, and risks using industry-standard methodologies.
  • Writes functional specifications, project plans, and other application project documents.
  • Supports staff in reviews and audits of CIO programs and projects.
  • Participates in application project conference calls and meetings.
  • Supports the development of project methodology and artifacts.
  • Analyzes and prepares change orders and Service Requests for applications.
  • Provides technical support for open Service Requests with the ISO.
  • Serves as a liaison with business process reengineering teams.
  • Assists in the review and documentation of business rules.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Agile Scrum Master / Project Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities Requested:

  • Demonstrated ability to provide senior-level project management and consulting support for IT programs and projects.
  • Experience supporting systems analysis and design activities.
  • Experience managing project schedules, issues, and risks using industry-standard project management methodologies.
  • Ability to develop functional specifications, project plans, project methodologies, and related project artifacts.
  • Experience preparing briefing reports, presentation materials, and technical briefings.
  • Ability to support budget estimates and justification documentation.
  • Experience coordinating with Government staff, application teams, and business process reengineering teams.
  • Experience supporting CIO program and project reviews and audits.
  • Ability to analyze and prepare application change orders and Service Requests.
  • Must possess a Public Trust or be eligible to obtain one.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
