The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an Agile Release Train (ART) Business Analyst to support the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) Case Development & Management (CDM) modernization effort. This role works within a SAFe Agile Release Train to refine requirements, translate mission needs into features and user stories, ensure alignment with CDM business processes, and support end-to-end value delivery across teams

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Managers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to translate customer mission needs into clear, actionable features and user stories.
  • Facilitate backlog refinement sessions, ensuring stories include acceptance criteria, dependencies, and alignment with customer system functional workflows.
  • Support ART-level planning, including preparation for PI Planning, feature breakdown, dependency management, and risk identification.
  • Conduct business process analysis for customer system workflows and activities, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain traceability across features, capabilities, compliance requirements, and test validation.
  • Partner with technical teams to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements and feasibility within system and data constraints.
  • Oversee and support scrum-team business analysts
  • Work with stakeholders to validate solution approach, gather feedback, and support change management.
  • Participate in ART ceremonies such as PI Planning, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and Scrum of Scrums (as needed).
  • Contribute to defining and maintaining consistent documentation standards, workflow mappings, and process guides.
  • Support readiness activities for deployment cycles, including validation of system capabilities and cross-team integration planning.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting Agile software development.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Experience working within Agile Release Trains or multi-team Agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of requirements decomposition, acceptance criteria, and backlog management.
  • Experience mapping business processes and translating functional needs into technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.


Desired:
  • Experience working on new system development and large system modernization projects.
  • Experience working on system database migration and the use of AWS native cloud services.
  • SAFe certification (SAFe Practitioner, SAFe PO/PM, SAFe BA/SM, or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting government or DoW modernization initiatives, particularly in mission-critical / high-use systems.


Working Conditions:
  • Hybrid or remote with occasional travel for PI Planning, customer meetings, and team events.
  • Must be capable of guiding distributed teams and coaching in both virtual and in-person formats.
