The Opportunity:

Lead Agile project execution while providing direct support to program operations, performance management, and business analysis functions for Department of Defense mission requirements. As an Agile Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage the overall performance, execution, and completion of projects, tasks, or delivery orders from initiation through closeout

  • Apply Agile project management principles—including iterative planning, sprint execution, and continuous stakeholder collaboration—to enable rapid adaptation to evolving priorities

  • Support program operations byidentifyingandfacilitatingresolution of operational issues and serving as a liaison between technical and functional areas

  • Conduct business process analysis, performance metrics development, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness

  • Manage one or more activities, control accounts, or tasks within a broader project/program, reporting to the program manager chain of command

  • Track cost, schedule, and technical performance while proactivelyidentifyingand resolving risks and issues


Responsibilities:

  • ApplyAgile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies to plan, execute, and continuously refine project deliverables in an iterative development environment
  • FacilitateAgile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives tomaintainteam alignment and momentum
  • DevelopandmaintainIntegrated Master Schedules (IMS), resource-loaded work plans, and risk registers to track program execution
  • Supportprogram business and functional operations, acting as a liaison between technical teams, functional areas, and program leadership
  • Conductresearch and analysis of business practices, perform cost/benefit analyses, and implement process improvements to enhance organizational performance
  • Developand monitor performance metrics, quality checkpoints, and dashboards that measure execution against Quality AssuranceSurveillance Plan (QASP) and Performance Requirements Summary (PRS) standards
  • Designand implement communication strategies and plans to support organizational change and stakeholder alignment
  • Supportrecurring Program Management Reviews (PMRs), status reporting, and continuous process improvement activities
  • Manageaction item tracking, meeting minutes, risk registers, and configuration management activities using collaborative tools such as Jira and integrated program portals
  • Coordinatewith technical leads, subcontractors, and support personnel to ensure successful task execution within scope, schedule, and budget constraints
  • Supporttransition planning, strategic plan development, and business process documentation for program initiatives
  • Influencepolicies, practices, and procedures both within and outside the immediate project team
  • Ensureorganizational policies, practices, and procedures are understood and consistently followed by the project team
  • Serveas a key point of contact between the project team, program leadership, and government stakeholders

Required:

  • 10+ years of related professional experience in program/project management, business analysis, or program operations support
  • Demonstratedexperience applying Agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, orSAFe) in a professional environment
  • Experiencemanaging project execution, including scope, schedule, and budget oversight
  • Stronganalytical skills with experience conducting business process analysis, cost/benefit analyses, and performance metrics development
  • Experiencedeveloping and implementing communication strategies and organizational change plans
  • Strongunderstanding of program operations support, including liaising between technical and functional areas
  • Demonstratedability to influence stakeholders outside the immediate project teamregardingpolicies, practices, and procedures
  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, with experience briefing leadership and stakeholders
  • Experiencemanaging the ongoing performance of a project after production or delivery
  • Abilitytoestablishtactical and operational plans and manage multiple concurrent priorities

  • CertifiedScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), orSAFeAgilist certification
  • ProjectManagement Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
