Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the linchpin for multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs), ensuring seamless orchestration of work across teams to meet program objectives and deadlines.
  • Actively engage with and guide Agile teams, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances productivity and innovation.
  • Identify potential roadblocks and issues early in the development cycle, escalating them to appropriate stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.
  • Facilitate effective coordination in a multi-vendor environment, ensuring alignment of goals, processes, and deliverables across all parties involved.
  • Establish and maintain robust performance monitoring capabilities, tracking key metrics and evaluating team performance against established standards and contract requirements.
  • Drive the adoption and adherence to agile best practices, continuously refining processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the SAFe framework.
  • Make strategic recommendations on process and tooling improvements to support the evolving needs of the program and teams.
  • Act as a liaison between various RTEs, architects, and other critical stakeholders, promoting quality communication and collaboration across disciplines.
  • Strengthen the presence and influence of the team within the Agile communities of practice, actively contributing to the organization’s Agile Community and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that all activities align with the contract model and standards, maintaining a high level of governance and adherence to established protocols.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active SECRET clearance (or U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • SAFe RTE certification required.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in software development, program management, or large-scale system integration projects.
  • At least 5 years of direct experience serving as an RTE, PM, or in an equivalent leadership role in a SAFe environment on large-scale Agile implementations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or facilitating multiple Agile teams within an ART or Solution Train environment.
  • Experience supporting ERP systems or other large-scale Federal IT programs
  • Proven track record in multi-vendor, large Federal program delivery, including risk management, cross-contract coordination, and scaling Agile practices.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
