Job SummaryThe Aggregate Operations Manager oversees the operations of regional aggregate mine sites.
Compensation$120k-$135k DOE
Responsibilities- Responsible for mine planning, safety, environmental matters, cost control, production and maintenance for assigned aggregate operations
- Responsible for mine planning and mining process
- Document production statistics and produce reports as required
- Supervise production operations; manage team
- Responsible for maintaining all plant equipment
- Communicate with local community as required
- Participate in the capital and operating budget processes
- Maintain working relationships with all departments to ensure work objectives can be met
- Develop plans to work towards improved performance and lower operating costs
- Participate on the safety committee
EducationBachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
Requirements/Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of experience running an aggregate site
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of surveying
- Project management experience
- Commitment to safety
- Strong computer skills - presentations and reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
