Full Job Description
Overview We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead the design and delivery of agentic commerce transformation programs for industrial clients. This role will help manufacturers, equipment OEMs, distributors, and industrial services organizations adapt to a new model of customer engagement where AI-powered agents, conversational interfaces, and intelligent systems increasingly influence how products, parts, services, and solutions are discovered, evaluated, specified, and transacted. As industrial buying journeys evolve beyond traditional sales channels, organizations must rethink how their specifications, product content, pricing logic, aftermarket services, channel relationships, platforms, and data are structured to operate within AI-driven and ecosystem-based environments. This Senior Manager will translate strategic vision into actionable programs, commercial value cases, and implementation roadmaps that modernize how industrial companies compete in agent-mediated buying journeys. You will serve as a senior client-facing leader and lead multidisciplinary teams across strategy, digital experience, content, platform integration, data, sales, and account teams. You will help clients improve how their products, services, and commercial propositions show up across search, AI interfaces, procurement workflows, dealer ecosystems, and partner platforms, while building the operating and technical readiness required for scalable agent interaction. The ideal candidate combines deep industrial or manufacturing expertise, digital and commercial strategy experience, strong program leadership, and an understanding of how AI and agent-based experiences are reshaping complex B2B buying journeys. Job Responsibilities Agentic Commerce Strategy & Transformation Leadership 3 Lead major workstreams that map how industrial buyers, fleet operators, dealers, and procurement teams navigate agent-influenced journeys across discovery, TCO comparison, specification evaluation, RFQ, purchase, service, and renewal. 3 Identify where agent mediation creates friction, risk, or competitive advantage, and redesign journeys, propositions, and operating models around the emerging behavior rather than defending legacy channels. 3 Translate emerging agentic commerce trends into industrial use cases, GTM plays, investment priorities, commercial value cases, and executable transformation roadmaps. 3 Advise senior client leaders on how to compete across direct, dealer, distributor, marketplace, and procurement ecosystems as buying decisions become increasingly AI-mediated. Digital Experience & Discoverability 3 Lead initiatives that improve how industrial products, aftermarket services, and commercial propositions are discovered, interpreted, compared, and engaged across digital and AI-enabled environments. 3 Define strategies to improve discoverability across search, conversational interfaces, procurement platforms, partner ecosystems, and industrial marketplaces. 3 Guide content, UX, product, and platform teams in structuring experiences for both human decision-makers and machine interpretation. 3 Oversee optimization of product pages, service journeys, specification content, and digital experiences to strengthen visibility, trust, and conversion. Agent Communication & Execution Readiness 3 Define the commercial and technical strategy required when agents expect real-time answers on pricing, availability, lead times, delivery commitments, service coverage, and contract terms. 3 Position agent readiness as a competitive requirement for winning agent-mediated evaluations, not solely a data engineering task, and quantify where slow, incomplete, or inconsistent commercial data weakens client performance. 3 Partner with engineering, product, data, and platform leadership to define integration approaches and expose endpoints across catalog, pricing, quote, availability, fulfillment, entitlement, and service workflows. 3 Lead development of scalable frameworks for AI-assisted quoting, purchasing, renewal, parts ordering, and service transactions. Monitoring, Trust & Technical Governance 3 Establish structured data quality, monitoring, and governance frameworks across product, parts, service, pricing, contract, and dealer information. 3 Identify gaps affecting citation eligibility, recommendation logic, specification matching, comparison outcomes, or transaction reliability. 3 Define governance standards for structured updates across business units, markets, product lines, and channel partners. 3 Partner with legal, security, and risk teams to help ensure APIs, data feeds, and agent interactions align with privacy, compliance, brand safety, and responsible AI requirements. Data & AI Readiness 3 Lead efforts to structure product, customer, service, dealer, and transaction data for analytics, personalization, recommendations, and AI use cases. 3 Identify where improved data can strengthen decision-making, TCO comparisons, uptime recommendations, service renewal, and customer experience. 3 Collaborate with data and technology leaders to improve the accessibility, quality, interoperability, and usability of commercial data across digital channels and ecosystem partners. 3 Translate business priorities into clear data and AI-readiness requirements for technical roadmaps. Client Engagement & Program Leadership 3 Serve as a senior client-facing leader responsible for delivering complex agentic commerce and digital ecosystem transformation programs. 3 Lead multidisciplinary teams across strategy, technology, experience, content, data, and analytics, with accountability for outcomes, quality, and delivery excellence. 3 Lead executive workshops, working sessions, steering updates, and decision forums that align commercial, sales, digital, service, procurement, and technology stakeholders. 3 Translate complex technical and strategic concepts into clear recommendations for senior client leaders and build alignment around priorities, investment choices, and execution plans. 3 Coach Managers, Consultants, and Analysts and contribute to a high-performing, inclusive team environment. Innovation & Capability Development 3 Help shape Accenture capabilities at the intersection of Industrials, B2B commerce, AI, and digital ecosystems. 3 Identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and competitive patterns affecting industrial customer engagement and distribution models. 3 Contribute to thought leadership, reusable methods, industry propositions, and client development activities for agentic commerce. 3 Collaborate across Accenture Song, Technology, Strategy, and industry teams to develop differentiated offerings and support business development. Basic Qualifications: 3 10+ years of experience in consulting, digital strategy, commercial strategy, or technology strategy in the Industrials industry; experience must include the following: 3 Experience leading digital transformation, customer experience, commercial strategy, sales effectiveness, product experience, or platform-related initiatives 3 Strong understanding of complex B2B buying journeys, industrial channels, dealer or distributor ecosystems, and aftermarket services 3 Experience with AI-driven customer experiences, conversational interfaces, emerging digital ecosystem trends, or machine-readable content and data structures 3 Understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, product information management, commerce platforms, product experience optimization, or API-based integrations 3 Experience collaborating with engineering, product, data, or platform leadership to prioritize AI-readiness initiatives on technical roadmaps 3 Proven ability to lead complex programs, manage cross-functional teams, and influence senior client stakeholders 3 Experience developing strategic roadmaps and translating them into actionable delivery plans and measurable business outcomes Preferred Qualifications: 3 Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Management, or a related field 3 Strong problem-solving, analytical, and commercial judgment 3 Excellent executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills 3 Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for commercial, technical, and executive stakeholders 3 Experience supporting business development, proposal development, or capability building in a consulting environment 3 Passion for innovation and the future of industrial customer engagement, B2B commerce, and AI-mediated buying journeys 3 Comfortable with travel Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
