Full Job Description
Join a team focused on managing and growing commercial and agricultural banking relationships across Nebraska and Iowa. As an Agriculture and Deposit Commercial Banker, you will develop and retain a portfolio of client relationships, drive loan and deposit growth, and partner with internal banking specialists to deliver comprehensive financial solutions while supporting market expansion.

Key Accountabilities
  • Grow and retain a portfolio of commercial and agricultural client relationships by developing new business opportunities and deepening existing partnerships.
  • Build loan, deposit, and fee-income growth through proactive business development, client outreach, and referral networks.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to identify client needs and connect customers with the banking products and services that best support their goals.
  • Analyze financial information and work with portfolio management partners to evaluate credit opportunities and recommend appropriate loan structures.
  • Manage portfolio administration and risk to ensure compliance with established credit policies, business strategies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial guidance to clients and prospective clients regarding business conditions, industry trends, and banking solutions.
  • Participate in the credit approval process by presenting loan opportunities and recommending appropriate credit structures.
  • Represent the bank within the community by building professional relationships, developing referral sources, and participating in business and community organizations.


Education & Experience

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years of commercial banking or business-to-business sales experience.
  • Demonstrated business development and credit analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of commercial banking products and a track record of sales and client relationship management success.
  • Access to reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive, if applicable.


Preferred
  • 7+ years of commercial banking or business-to-business sales experience.
  • Advanced business development and credit expertise with a strong history of managing and growing client relationships.
