Full Job Description
We9re looking for a hands-on Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer with a background in the SCADA, PLC, design for manufacturing, hardware/software development for hardware test.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

This is a role for a highly collaborative individual who will help us with optimizing for high volume production and meeting cross discipline requirements.

We are looking for an engineer who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively.

Key job responsibilities

* Develop SCADA and PLC controls for manufacturing

* Software/hardware integration testing

* Review and analyze data using tools such as MATLAB, Python, or similar.

* Support and organize the release of the software and hardware system documents through gate reviews

* Investigate and troubleshoot yield issues during prototype and production builds

* Write status and/or build reports for cross-functional review

* Develop procedures, preventative maintenance plans, and troubleshooting guides to support production

* Develop and communicate system integration and evaluation strategies and plans in support of program learning, technical risk reduction, verification, and validation

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure

- 4+ years of PLC/SCADA integration experience, or Bachelor9s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or equivalent

- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

- Bachelor9s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with distributed systems at scale

- Experience with technical writing, or experience with project management

- Experience in mentoring, leading, or managing more junior engineers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
