Job DescriptionYou will be the Aeronautical Engineering Manager for the Structures team which is responsible for advancing PLM/CAD tool development and implementation.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Aeronautical Engineering Manager you will be responsible for guiding cross-functional and cross-BA collaboration, managing priorities, reporting, and resources while empowering capability leads to execute their work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and mature DSR6 requirements, policies, and governance.
- Design and enhance CAD and PLM capabilities.
- Define future-state PLM/CAD applications for legacy programs.
- Create training, methods, and best-practice documentation.
- Represent engineering in vendor workshops and collaborations for capability solutions.

Basic Qualifications-- Bachelor's degree or higher in a Mechanical, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering
-- Management or Team Lead Experience
-- Experience with airframe design/development, production support and sustainment support.
--Experience with NX/Teamcenter or similar PLM/CAD toolset
-- Current Secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years
Desired skills-- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-- Demonstrated collaboration across multiple disciplines and organizations
-- Experience with full Model Based Definition programs
-- Experience with Agile Methodology and reporting tools (Jira, Confluence)
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
