Full Job Description
MD&A's Industrial Gas Turbine Division in San Antonio, Texas, is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to lead and grow the Aero/Gas Turbine Parts services. This position will be located at our San Antonio, Texas facility.

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Lead and manage repair and services teams to meet customers' Quality and On-Time Delivery requirements.
  • Reduce operational risks by ensuring all company safety measures and protocols are followed.
  • Plans, controls, and maintains all operational costs consistent with established business priorities and goals.
  • Create and promote a continuous improvement environment/culture where all employees actively contribute to improvement suggestions and ideas.
  • Ability to obtain, analyze, and act on new or established financial profitability targets.
  • Work and enhance relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for managing internal and external supply chains. Ensure adequate levels of inventory and consumables to support production forecasts.
  • Proved leadership support in employee selection/talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, coaching and mentoring, and employee engagement processes and programs in alignment with all business goals, visions, and values.


Requirements

  • BS/BA in engineering, business, management, logistics, or a related field is required.
  • 7+ years of related operations/manufacturing experience in a supervisory position within the Aerospace and or Gas Turbine maintenance, repair & overhaul industries. Must have managed and lead a team of engineers and repair technicians.
  • Strong competencies in leadership, communication, cultural awareness, and organizational astuteness.
  • Proven track record of managing a repair shop including driving profitability on jobs.
  • Ability to effectively communicate written and verbal complex instructions or directions to direct reports and division management.
  • Well-versed and solid computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Suite 365.
  • GT Field Engineer experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong project management skills.

Salary Description

$100,000.00 - 135,000.00 (DOE) + Bonus
