Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented AEGIS Based Defense Systems Analyst to join our team! In this role you will be part of a talented and mission oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers and Contract staff who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get missile defense capability out to the Fleet. You will also be part of a team of some of the best and brightest Engineers and scientists our country has to offer.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assist with evaluating functional alignment and compatibility between PAC-3 MSE and shipboard Aegis systems in support of the missile performance
  • Support efforts to integrate the PAC-3 MSE fire control system into the Aegis Weapon System
  • Support and monitor integration of PAC-3 MSE into the Vertical Launch System.
  • Support test planning, participate in live fire and flight test execution, and assist in post-mission data analysis
  • Coordinate technical meetings, prepare briefings, and track action items across all assigned efforts to maintain integration schedule momentum
  • Serve as technical support for SM-6 systems engineering and integration duties as required
  • Coordinate with internal and external program office stakeholders, labs, and warfare centers to support systems engineering efforts
  • Provide engineering support for SM-6 test events, coordination meetings, and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing environments
  • Assist in tracking, developing, and mapping system-level requirements across the broader SM-6 portfolio to maintain alignment with fleet objectives.


What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or related field, or equivalent work experience that meets guidelines established for job
    (NOTE: Newly-hired PhD graduates are typically hired into this level.)
  • 5+ years of related professional experience
  • Mastery of MS Office suite and familiarity with collaborative tools such as Jira, Confluence or Teams
  • Weapon System Experience


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • BA/BS Degree
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Prior experience with Weapons Systems Deployment
  • Experience with Missile Systems Engineering
  • Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.


Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
