Job Title: Senior Field Service Representative

As an AE 2100 Field Service Representative supporting the United States Air Force’s Peoria National Guard C130J propulsion system, you will provide stellar support to the Customer by establishing and maintaining a close liaison with relevant sections of the Customer’s organization, Rolls-Royce Customer Support, Engineering and Program Management.
What you will be doing:
Here you’ll have the opportunity to work on the following:
- Providing assistance on technical issues, to include, written communication, phone calls, and electronic media relating to aircraft engine operations, maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and logistics support.
- Reviewing engineering changes with regard to their effect on the product in the field, including maintenance manual updates and coordinating communication plans with Customers on impact to their operations.
- In collaboration with Customer Training Services, develop and conduct supplemental training to maintenance activities through on-the-job training and classroom instruction as appropriate.
- Utilizing and support Rolls-Royce and Customer databases and diagnostic software programs to respond to technical and operational queries.
- Supporting Manager(s) in executing AE 2100 Program and Deployed Services responsibilities.
- Traveling on short notice domestically or internationally in support of campaigns, AOG situations and/or Customer requests for extended periods of one month or more (travel away from the Department can exceed three months per year).
- Backfill other Field Service Representatives in the event of absences, temporary duty away from home station, etc.
- Complying with any requirement to relocate assignment as determined by the business and/or the Customer to ensure Rolls-Royce business objectives and contract deliverables are met and Customer operational needs are supported.
- Providing technical support during conferences and program reviews, etc. at the request of Rolls-Royce and/or the Customer.
- Providing support requirements such as site visits, engine operation, maintenance, safety briefs, field training, accident investigations, in-flight test evaluations and direct requests on short notice.
- Preparing and distribute appropriate reports upon completion of Customer visits.
- Travel to other Customer sites as required.
- All international assignments are for a minimum of three years.

Basic Requirements:
- An Associate’s degree with 4+ years of experience in jet engine maintenance and/or an aviation in-field customer support role OR
- A Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in jet engine maintenance and/or an aviation in-field customer support role OR
- A Master`s degree with experience in jet engine maintenance and/or an aviation in-field customer support role OR
- JD/Ph.D.
- In lieu of degree 6+ years of experience in jet engine maintenance and/or an aviation in-field customer support role
- In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain secret security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship.
Preferred:
- Prior military experience
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
- AE series engine maintenance
