Full Job Description
While this is a remote position, the successful candidate must reside within 50 miles of a FedEx Freight location within the continental US.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ensures technology teams are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and practical guidance needed to effectively implement, operate, and support enterprise platforms,
2. Design and maintain role-based technical enablement paths aligned to enterprise platforms, including Microsoft (Azure, M365), ServiceNow, Salesforce, and other core technologies.
3. Partner with platform owners, architects, and operations leaders to ensure enablement reflects current standards, configurations, and operational expectations.
4. Leverage vendor-provided training, certifications, and labs, and learning assets to accelerate skill development and reduce time-to-proficiency.
5. Develop and curate practical learning assets such as job aids, runbooks, onboarding guides, playbooks, and "how-we-operate" documentation.
6. Coordinate and integrate vendor-led education programs (Microsoft, ServiceNow, Salesforce) into cohesive learning journeys tailored to IT roles.
7. Ensure training is applied and outcome-driven, focusing on real operational scenarios rather than theoretical instruction.
8. Support platform rollouts, migrations, and modernization initiatives by ensuring technical readiness and adoption are embedded into delivery plans.
9. Partner with IT Operations, ITSM, SRE, and Command Center teams to align enablement with cutover, hyper care, and steady-state support models.
10. Identify adoption risks early and recommend targeted enablement interventions to reduce incidents, rework and support escalations.
11. Establish and maintain technology enablement standards for onboarding, upskilling, and platform adoption.
12. Ensure learning materials align with security, compliance, audit, operational discipline requirements.
13. Continuously refine enablement approaches using operational feedback, incident trends, and post-implementation reviews.
14. Act as a trusted advisor to IT leaders on workforce readiness, platform adoption, and enablement strategy.
15. Influence across teams and vendors without direct authority to drive consistent enablement outcomes.
16. Provide clear reporting on enablement progress, risks, and effectiveness to leadership as needed.
17. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
18. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Five (5) years of experience in technology enablement, technical training, IT advisory, or a related enterprise IT role.
• Strong working knowledge of enterprise platforms, with emphasis on Microsoft (Azure/M365), ServiceNow, and Salesforce.
• Proven ability to translate platform capabilities and technical standards into practical, consumable learning assets.
• Experience supporting enterprise technology change, such as platform migrations, modernization efforts, or operating model shifts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, execution-focused IT environment.
• Experience working with or coordinating vendor-provided certification and training programs.
• Background in IT Operations, ITSM, Platform Engineering, or Enterprise Infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cloud, SRE, DevOps, and modern workplace technologies.
• Experience supporting large-scale organizational or technology transformations.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and priorities in a matrixed environment. Strong organizational and execution tracking skills (roadmaps, deliverables, milestones, risks)

The compensation listed reflects the pay range or rate of pay reasonably expected for this posted position at the posted location(s). Actual pay is determined by job-related factors permitted by law and relevant to the position, such as experience, tenure, market level, pay at the location for this job, performance, schedule, and work assignment. Eligible employees offered health, vision, dental, life, AD&D, STD and LTD insurance, employee assistance program, personal/sick paid time, 401(k) retirement savings plan, bonus potential, tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance, 2 weeks paid parental leave, paid bereavement, employee discounts, 6.67-13.34 hours vacation per month based on service time, 8 paid holidays.

Pay Range: $74,814.00 - $141,847.00 per year

Colorado Pay Ranges: Colorado Springs, Grand Junction $80,050 - $126,479; Henderson, Mead $84,538 - $133,571; Gypsum $89,777 - $141,847

Illinois Pay Ranges: Effingham, Kankakee, Lincoln, Quincy, Rockford, Aurora $80,050 - $126,479; Bolingbrook, Chicago Heights, Des Plaines, Elmhurst, Forest View, Joliet, Schaumburg, Summit-Argo, Zion $89,777 - $141,847

New York Pay Ranges: Plattsburgh, Buffalo, Watertown, North Chili, East Syracuse, Nichols $80,050 - $126,479; Bethpage, Montgomery, West Babylon $89,777 - $141,847

New Jersey Job Postings: $74,814.00 - $115,812.00 per year
This compensation range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting pay range in NJ. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay is determined by experience relative to the job, market level, specific location and other job-related factors permitted by law. Regular full & part-time employees (who complete 91 days of employment and work a minimum average of 12 hours per week) are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and/or vision coverage, tuition reimbursement. Full/part-time employees who are age 21 are eligible for 401(k) after one month of employment.
