In this role, you'll work on contracting Power Purchase agreements (PPA), Renewable energy credits (REC), and tax credits, collaborating with a team across the U.S. and Canada. This role offers opportunities to learn from experts about renewable origination and gain valuable knowledge and experience in the energy market.

What You Will Do:
Improve Enbridges market competitiveness in contracting its wind and solar projects by developing bilateral market collateral and leading the preparation of proposals for competitive Request for Proposals (RFPs).
Interpret RFP requirements, assess Enbridges competitive viability, and efficiently communicate key needs and deadlines to Enbridges Power leadership team.
Coordinate weekly briefings on new and pending RFPs and bilateral solicitation opportunities.
Conduct regular proposal progress status meetings and follow up with team members across the Enbridge Power business to ensure timely completion.
Lead market research to identify prospective offtake for new project developments.
Who You Are:
Hold a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, energy, sustainability, or a related field.
4 or more years of experience in a business development or sales role in the wind, solar, or broader clean energy industry. For candidates who do not possess a university degree, an additional 3-years experience is required (total 7+ years).
Display a deep intellectual curiosity for renewable energy and energy markets.
Effective communication abilities and a successful history of partnering with internal and external clients.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Physical Requirements:
Grasping, kneeling, light moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Working Conditions:
Salary:
Ranges from $90,000 $115,000 USD for U.S. locations based upon candidates experience, skills, and internal equity.
Ranges from $90,000 $115,000 CAD for Canadian locations (except Alberta) based upon candidates experience, skills, and internal equity.
Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
