Full Job Description
The Opportunity:

The Advisor plays a pivotal role in advancing strategic priorities across the Sunwing Tour Operator functions. Reporting to the President, Sunwing, this role serves as a key integrator, thought partner, and strategic advisor to the Sunwing Tour Operator Senior Leadership Team.

What You'll Do:
  • Operate across strategic, operational, and tactical levels, providing oversight for critical and confidential Tour Operation processes and initiatives that span functions or fall outside of traditional reporting structures
  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to the President and Sunwing Senior Leadership Team, acting as a sounding board and offering fresh perspectives
  • Facilitate the flow of critical information across internal and external stakeholders, serving as an extension of the President and also a key liaison across the WestJet Group's ecosystem
  • Navigate complex cross-functional discussions with professionalism and neutrality, managing competing perspectives and aligning stakeholders
  • Lead internal planning and governance for SVG teams, including, but not limited to, Business Reviews, OKRs (objectives and key results), Budget alignment, leadership offsites, Board materials, and town halls
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all major SVG functions and collaborate closely with their leaders
  • Integrate, connect and ensure a holistic approach for workstreams that could otherwise rema in siloed; working in close collaboration with the other members of the SVG SLT to ensure alignment across all critical priority and cross-functional strategic initiatives and transformational projects
  • Review and facilitate strategic business planning to ensure cohesive alignment between departmental and corporate objectives;
  • Prepare high-impact presentations for ExComm and the Board of Directors, distilling complex data into actionable insights to enable swift, informed decision-making.

Professional Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate strategy, or executive advisory roles within large, complex, or matrixed organizations
  • At least 5 years of direct experience partnering with senior operations executives, providing strategic guidance and supporting enterprise-level decision-making
  • Proven ability to lead and support cross-functional initiatives driving alignment and execution across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Strong familiarity with corporate governance processes, including preparation of Board and executive committee materials, leadership meeting coordination, and performance planning cycles
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills, with a track record of distilling complex qualitative and quantitative inputs into high-impact insights and executive-level presentations
  • Experience navigating organizations through strategic change, cultural transformation, or high-growth phases, with a focus on operational integration and business continuity
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent graduate education strongly preferred
