Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an APRN or PA-C with a focus on vascular care.
• Current, valid Florida APRN or PA license is mandatory.
• Certification through ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA is required.
• Experience in performing diagnostic and surgical procedures related to vascular surgery is essential.
• Strong commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the vascular surgeon in operating room procedures including suturing and drain placement.
• Conduct hospital rounds and perform physical examinations on inpatient vascular and peripheral surgery patients.
• Perform specific procedures like THDC removal and stitch removals as per privileges.
• Educate patients and families on vascular conditions and related surgeries.
• Manage patient care to ensure continuity throughout their hospital stay.
• Formulate appropriate diagnoses based on thorough clinical evaluations.
• Plan and provide care in accordance with facility policies and practice guidelines.
